2021 marks the 26th anniversary of Saint Pope John Paul II’s Envagelium Vitae (The Gospel of Life), on March 25th. In that encyclical, Saint Pope John Paul II said, “With great openness and courage, we need to question how widespread is the culture of life today among individual Christians, families, groups and communities in our Dioceses. With equal clarity and determination, we must identify the steps we are called to take in order to serve life in all its truth.” — Evangelium Vitae, 95.
Often, the secular media portrays the Catholic Church as merely anti-abortion, offering no tangible help to pregnant women in need. That notion could not be further from the truth. The good news is that help is readily available from many compassionate and dedicated people and organizations.
