OCIA - Becoming Catholic

Each year on Holy Saturday during the Easter Vigil,  thousands are baptized into the Catholic Church in the United States. Parishes welcome these new Catholics through the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).

Bishop Kagan offers a series of six videos pertaining to a deepening of the understanding of the mysteries of our Catholic faith called the mystagogia.

For the newly initiated into the faith, this period is the final stage for the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults (OCIA). For veteran Catholics, this period provides a time for reaffirming and cementing our life in the Holy Spirit. For all, it's a time of learning and renewing our beliefs as followers of Christ.
