The office, through its director, ministers to the youth of the Diocese of Bismarck by directing the "SEARCH for Christian Maturity" retreat program; planning and coordinating diocesan high and junior high school youth rallies; the retreat schedule of the "National Evangelization Team"; youth service projects in Fort Yates and Mandaree; youth participation in the bi-annual "National Catholic Youth Conferences" and youth participation in the bi-annual "World Youth Day." It is involved in Region VIII youth ministry activities; collaborates with the Office of Catechesis to foster implementation of youth ministry within the diocese and provides workshops and study programs for youth ministers.
The safety and protection of youth is of vital concern to the Office of Youth Ministry. Toward this end, you have access to the Diocese of Bismarck's Safe Environment Program policies and procedures through our youth ministry office.
