The office, through its director, promotes the implementation of the National Cathechetical Directory, Vision of Youth Ministry and other church documents related to catechesis. It provides direct assistance to pastors, parish coordinators, and school administrators for the development of cathechetical programs for all age groups.
The director also has responsibility for the diocesan RENEW program, working with pastors and parish administrators in the implementation of the program within their respective parishes.
